Started out working in several floral shops as a designer. Each shop I designed garters for prom and weddings along with floral designing. After leaving the floral business I was contacted by past customers wanting me to custom design for them. On a folding table in the family room I launched a business, creating and making wedding and prom garters by special request. Word spread and the popularity filled the family room and ran over into the garage then it was time for a small shop, a website, then needing more space on to a full retail store. Now a full time business creativity became the operative word with sports, colleges and even superman themed garters.
Recently we were contacted by our sewing factory with a opportunity to purchase the business and start producing garters for resale. Here it is the next step providing not only selling fully designed garters to brides and prom goers but also providing product for bridal, floral, apparel stores and small businesses with garters in all kinds of styles and materials.
Now creating new garter designs is only limited by the supplies available and even then we are pushing hard for the fun, beautiful and unusual materials to create new designs constantly. With my experience in bridal design, event decorating, managing a costume store, I have been given a wonderful perspective of the customer wants and likes and will be putting it to good use.
Garters, headbands, arm and wristbands, cheer team garters and themed custom orders for entertainment facilities. If you have a idea run it by us and see what we can do.
We made custom black and red garters for a “Cabaret” themed wedding for a couple in New York, everyone of the guests got a garter to wear on their leg or arm feathers and rhinestones. Fun!
In 2007 on 070707, we provided garters for Six Flags over Texas give away garters for their roller coaster wedding contest. 98 couples was married in 12 parks on July 7, 2007, at 7:00 am. Our garters were there.
One of our first adventures was introducing camo printed garters. Giving the outdoorsy and/or military giving our customers something they have been asking for. Next metallic swirl ribbons and pink leopard print. What do you think about rhinestone skulls? Keep watching and see what is coming next by following us on our FACEBOOK page “Wholesale Garters” where we will post new items and marketing ideas for making the most profitable use of our garters for your business.
Thank you for reading my introduction, I hope you enjoy our website. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
